Last month in Hull’s elegant Guildhall, the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Nature Partnership (HEY LNP) Conference saw a great turnout, a range of speakers and lots of animated discussion about the HEY Local Nature Recovery Strategy (HEY LNRS).
The focus was partly on celebration of publication – an important milestone – and largely on how to work together with partners within and beyond the room to ensure effective delivery.
We were inspired by some great talks from our partner organisations on how they will use the HEY LNRS – from working with water to tree planting to community engagement. Thank you to our speakers, and to everyone who attended for helping to make it an engaging and hopeful event.
It’s an exciting time as the HEY LNRS gathers momentum for delivery. We are currently organising our steering group and next round of workshops to put plans into collective action for nature recovery in Hull and East Yorkshire.
