Defra have announced that the 2026 round of Capital Grants will open in July, and have published some advance notice of how to prepare for application, including greater emphasis on providing supporting evidence up front.
Capital Grants can be used to deliver standalone improvements or to complement existing Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), Countryside Stewardship (CS) or Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) agreements.
